Built in 1927, the Hofmatt in Münchenstein (BL) includes a hotel with 15 rooms, a restaurant with 70 seats, as well as around 90 garden seats. Additionally, a large event hall and two seminar rooms are available. The stylish event hall offers space for up to 400 people and is equipped with a gallery, stage, and modern event technology – ideal for a wide variety of occasions. In addition, we present the successful program of Le Petit Chef in our hotel.

Our team is looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a
Chef de Service (m/w/d, 80-100 %, Teildienst)
who works with passion with the guest and leads the service team.

With us, you are not at a desk, but in the middle of the action: You roll up your sleeves, lead by example, and ensure that the service runs smoothly.

Your tasks:

• Primarily with the guest: personal care and good service
• Leadership and coordination of the service team
• Developing the service team and specifically promoting employees
• Ensuring smooth service processes between the restaurant and events
• Maintaining an overview during peak periods and making spontaneous decisions
• Close cooperation with hotel, kitchen, and service
• Little administration: duty roster as a basis, focus on the guest

Your profile:

• Experience in service, ideally already with leadership experience
• Pragmatic and down-to-earth, a good role model for the team
• Friendly appearance and great joy in guest contact
• Very good German skills, Swiss German is also an advantage
• Resilience and flexibility
• Team spirit, reliability, and an eye for the essentials
