Gastro Hotel Jobs lists hospitality jobs in Switzerland and nothing else: kitchen, service, bar, reception, housekeeping and laundry, in a city restaurant as much as in a mountain hotel, a staff canteen or a catering firm.
It is built for people who work shifts. The young cook who finished the apprenticeship last summer, the waiter who swaps Ticino for the Engadin every winter, the receptionist who only wants weekdays. Year-round jobs and season contracts sit side by side, so one search shows both.

Why it’s free
A family hotel in a side valley needs staff as urgently as a city chain but has no budget for job ads, and cooks and service staff should not pay to find work. Both sides are free, which is why the small places post here too.

- Are there season jobs with accommodation?
- Often, especially for winter and summer in Graubünden, Valais and the Bernese Oberland. Whether a room comes with the job, and what is deducted from the wage for it, each employer states in the posting.
- Which jobs count as hospitality here?
- Kitchen, service, bar, reception, housekeeping, laundry and the management of those teams, in hotels, restaurants, cafés, canteens and catering.
- What is the L-GAV?
- The national collective labour agreement for Swiss hospitality. It covers most restaurants and hotels and sets minimum wages by training level, working hours and a 13th monthly salary. The posting and the contract say what applies to a given job.
- Do applications go through the site?
- No. The apply link leads to the employer’s own page or address.
- In which languages can I read the postings?
- The interface is in German, English, French and Italian. A posting shows in the language it was written in, and in the one you chose once its translation is ready.
- How does a restaurant take a filled job down?
- With the private link sent by email when the posting went live. It withdraws the posting and cannot change it, so a different role means posting again.
