As General Manager, you assume global responsibility for the establishment and ensure the excellence of its operation, both on an operational as well as a commercial, financial, and human level. Leading multidisciplinary teams, you ensure the direct management of all departments, from accommodation to dining, including bars, housekeeping, and areas dedicated to well-being. Your in-depth knowledge of hotel professions allows you to be concretely involved in operations and to effectively support your department heads. A true conductor, you guarantee the consistency and quality of the customer experience by cultivating authentic, warm hospitality attentive to detail. Particularly involved in F&B activities, you ensure the quality of services, the attractiveness of dining concepts, and the animation of the various living spaces of the establishment. As a close manager, you unite, support, and develop your employees; as a rigorous manager, you pilot budgets, control costs, optimize resources, and analyze performance indicators to guarantee sustainable profitability. Possessing a true commercial temperament, you contribute to the establishment's prestige, develop business opportunities, and maintain privileged relationships with customers, tourism partners, and local economic actors. Your ability to bring the establishment to life according to the rhythm of the seasons, to enhance its various offers, and to make it a place of meeting and conviviality constitutes an essential dimension of your mission.

Profile Sought

Coming from a recognized superior hotel management training, you have proven managerial experience, ideally acquired within a 3 to 4-star hotel establishment. You combine hotel expertise, commercial sense, and unifying leadership, and possess excellent mastery of accommodation operations as well as particularly affirmed expertise in the field of catering and F&B, of which you understand both the operational challenges and the profitability levers. Comfortable in team management, you know how to combine strategic vision, financial rigor, and an active presence on the ground. Your dynamic personality, your relational intelligence, and your sense of diplomacy allow you to unite your employees and maintain constructive relationships with a demanding management. An entrepreneur at heart, you demonstrate autonomy, discernment, and a real sensitivity to the customer experience. Your ability to integrate sustainably into a tourist environment, to develop a solid local network, and to make your establishment shine beyond its resident clientele represents a determining asset. You must imperatively master French, English, and German, both orally and in writing, and hold a hotel operating license, ideally in the canton of Berne.
