The employer is looking for a:

Cook – 90% (reported profession)

Tasks:

• preparation and cooking of meals according to the defined menus and quality standards;
• particular attention to the dietary needs and dietary regimens of the residents;
• control of the quality, freshness and correct storage of food;
• distribution of meals to the departments and the dining room, ensuring punctuality and correctness of service;
• management and appropriate use of kitchen equipment and tools;
• compliance with hygiene, cleaning, food safety procedures and the HACCP system;
• correct management of food supplies, stocks and differentiated waste disposal;
• collaboration with the Kitchen Manager and with the team in the daily management of the service;
• participation in team meetings and collaboration in the continuous improvement of the organization.

Requirements:

• Federal Certificate of Capacity (AFC) as a Cook;
• professional experience of at least 3 years in the catering sector, preferably gained in medium-to-large structures, hospitals, socio-sanitary facilities or nursing homes;
• good knowledge of cooking techniques and professional equipment;
• knowledge and application of hygiene and food safety regulations;
• good organizational skills and autonomy in performing one's tasks;
• ability to work in a team and to collaborate positively with colleagues and other professionals;
• good interpersonal and communication skills;
• sense of responsibility, precision, order and reliability;
• flexibility and availability for shift work;
• good predisposition for contact with elderly people and attention to their needs.
