Our client at Flughafen Zürich is looking for a committed and experienced Sous Chef (all genders) in permanent employment & full-time, who will support the team starting immediately in the preparation of food for the lounges at Flughafen Zürich. Main tasks: - Responsibility for orders and stock - Ensuring hygiene and HACCP standards - Organization and supervision of the kitchen area - Leadership and coordination of the kitchen team - Quality controls and inventory support - Induction of new employees - Interface between kitchen, service, and logistics - Promotion of hygiene and process awareness within the team - Independent and reflective working. Requirements: - Completed culinary training - 2-3 years of professional experience as a cook - Good German skills; other languages are a plus. - High technical competence - Good manners and professional skill, clean and independent way of working - High hygiene and quality awareness - Experience in ordering systems and in employee leadership - Organizational talent - Assertiveness - Understanding of other cultures - Flexibility for shift work 7 days a week (ideally available from 04.30 onwards) - Flawless criminal record extract and residence in Switzerland for at least five years. Note: The shifts are fictitious. The working hours will be defined after the hiring decision in consultation with the operating company.
