The Alters- und Pflegeheim Langrüti is an operation of the district of Einsiedeln and offers a home for 100 residents. We place great importance on comprehensive care, careful nursing, and personal appreciation.

As part of our new management structure, we are looking for, as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, a:

Head of Gastronomy 100 %

Your area of responsibility:

• Strategic and operational management of the gastronomy area including kitchen, cafeteria, dining room, and office, including participation as a member of the management team
• Personnel and professional leadership of the kitchen team leader as well as the employees in the cafeteria, dining room, and office
• Ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations
• Design of a high-quality, age-appropriate, and varied gastronomic offering
• Planning and execution of events and banquets as well as active participation in daily gastronomic operations
• Analyzing process flows and deriving optimization measures
• Interdisciplinary cooperation

Your profile:

• Completed training as Koch/Köchin EFZ and further training as Chefkoch / zur Chefköchin with eidg. Fachausweis, graduation from a hotel management school, or an equivalent training
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in gastronomy, preferably with experience in residential care gastronomy
• High service orientation as well as enjoyment of leadership tasks and active participation in daily gastronomic operations
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as a good sense for quality, efficiency, and economic efficiency
• Maintains an overview even in hectic situations and makes decisions confidently
• Assignments in the evenings and on weekends are a matter of course for you
