For our customer, an established company with a versatile gastronomy portfolio, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded and strong-leadership personality for the management of several establishments in a region in German-speaking Switzerland. The different gastronomy concepts are characterized by individual offerings, high quality standards and a pronounced customer orientation. The focus is on the economic further development of the establishments, the partnership-based cooperation with clients as well as the leadership and promotion of the responsible management personnel. We are looking for a personality who understands business relationships, recognizes potentials and convinces with a pronounced sense for people and operational processes.

Tasks & Challenges

• Overall responsibility for the operational and economic management of 8 gastronomy establishments
• Leadership, coaching and further development of the site managers as well as the promotion of a performance-oriented leadership culture
• Responsibility for budgeting, income statements, key figure analyses and the derivation of targeted optimization measures
• Further development of the gastronomic offerings considering profitability, quality and customer needs
• Identification and implementation of growth potentials as well as optimization of structures, processes and resources
• Maintenance and further development of long-term customer relationships as well as ensuring professional mandate support
• Management of cross-departmental projects and accompaniment of change processes

Qualifications & Competencies

• Several years of leadership experience in gastronomy, ideally with responsibility for several establishments or gastronomic concepts
• Sound business knowledge and confidence in dealing with budgets, income statements and relevant key figures
• Entrepreneurial thinking, analytical skills and a pronounced understanding of economic contexts
• Leadership personality with experience in the development of management personnel and the management of decentralized teams
• Pronounced customer orientation, negotiation skills and enjoyment in the maintenance of long-term business relationships
• Structured, independent way of working with high implementation strength and operational understanding
• Very good German skills as well as good IT user skills; further language skills are an advantage
• Ideally good networking in the Basel economic region
