The Natur- und Bikehotel Balga is a small but chic spot in the heart of the village of Balgach. We are a certified 3-star Bikehotel and do everything we can to ensure our guests feel comfortable with us. Together with Restaurant Hedwig, where we celebrate nature-oriented cuisine, we form a meeting point for biker and nature fans as well as for all gourmets from the Greater Rhine Valley region who are looking for a restaurant gem away from the culinary mainstream.

Your tasks

• You organize the kitchen reliably and independently.
• You develop the food offering in coordination with the Executive Chef.
• Ensuring smooth kitchen operations is important to you.
• You handle food carefully and process it economically.
• You carry out goods reception, inspection, and storage dutifully.
• You work exactly according to recipes or instructions from superiors to ensure consistent quality.
• Compliance with hygiene and quality standards is part of your everyday life.
• Deputizing for the Executive Chef during their absence.

What you bring

• You have completed training as a Cook EFZ.
• You already have experience as a Sous Chef in a high-traffic operation or are ready for the next career step into this responsible position.
• Independence and networked thinking are among your strengths.
• You are a team player, resilient, and flexible.
• You are creative and you have a sense for current food trends.
