Hotel operator

The employer is looking for a:

Restaurant manager (reported profession)

Tasks:

• daily operational management of the restaurant
• coordination, organization and supervision of staff
• organization of shifts and management of the team's operational needs
• supervision of service and verification of quality standards
• reception and management of customers
• management of any complaints and problematic situations with professionalism
• collaboration in the management of orders and relationships with suppliers
• control of stocks and procurement needs
• management of the cash register and closing operations, if required
• compliance with and control of hygiene, safety regulations and internal procedures
• collaboration with management in the economic and organizational management of the premises
• training and support of staff
• active participation in the improvement of organization and service quality

Requirements:

• fundamental requirement: valid and recognized cantonal manager's certificate
• good experience in the management of restaurants or catering establishments and a proven ability to coordinate staff
• reliable, autonomous, organized person with strong interpersonal skills
• able to take on responsibility and work independently
• flexibility, ability to manage stress, customer orientation, leadership and problem-solving attitude
• excellent knowledge of Italian
• knowledge of additional languages constitutes a preferential qualification
