The Castello Toscana in Basel's Old Town – a restaurant that brings a piece of Dolce Vita to Switzerland for our guests. Here, Mediterranean hospitality, authentic Italian cuisine, and a warm atmosphere that reminds one of Italy combine. With 60 seats in the restaurant as well as 50 terrace seats, we offer our guests a versatile culinary experience: At lunch we serve a fine menu, while the evening is enjoyed in a slightly more sophisticated atmosphere.

What you bring:

• Experience in a leadership position in gastronomy (e.g., as deputy host, restaurant manager, or Sous Chef)
• Enthusiasm for Italian cuisine and wine culture
• Host personality with natural warmth and service orientation
• Leadership competence with an eye for team spirit and motivation
• Organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and high resilience

Your tasks:

• Organization and coordination of all operational processes up to the development and implementation of sales concepts for the company.
• Co-responsible for achieving specifications and objectives with corresponding analysis and necessary optimization processes
• Ensuring smooth service processes with a focus on excellent guest experience
• Host role with a warm and authentic presence – you are the soul of the house
• Leadership, motivation, and development of the service team
• Coordination between kitchen and service for an optimal implementation of the gastronomic concept
• Responsibility for quality assurance, ordering, and compliance with hygiene regulations
• Active participation in daily business as well as ensuring efficient roster design
