For our restaurant located in L’Isle, in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a Head Chef at 100%.

Our establishment wishes to offer generous and authentic cuisine around three themes: oriental cuisine, Swiss cuisine, and seafood.

Your mission

You will be responsible for the organization and the proper functioning of the kitchen:

• Preparation and making of dishes
• Mastery of oriental cuisine
• Mastery of Swiss and traditional cuisine
• Preparation and cooking of fish and seafood
• Organization of mise en place and service
• Stock management and participation in ordering
• Compliance with hygiene and food safety standards
• Maintaining the quality and consistency of dishes
• Organization of work in the kitchen

👨🍳 Profile sought

We are looking for an experienced cook, capable of working autonomously and taking charge of a kitchen.

You are:

• Experienced and autonomous
• Very comfortable with oriental cuisine
• Comfortable with Swiss cuisine
• Experienced in working with fish and seafood
• Organized, clean, and punctual
• Serious and reliable
• Capable of working in a team
• Motivated to commit long-term to an establishment

Experience in Switzerland is a plus, but not indispensable.

Activity rate: 100%

Working days: Monday to Saturday

Fixed day off: Sunday

Hours: split shifts

🏠 Possibility of on-site accommodation.
