Join a dynamic team in the heart of the medieval town of Gruyères!

Located in the heart of one of Switzerland's most iconic tourist sites, La Table des Traditions welcomes Swiss and international clientele in an authentic and warm setting.

As part of the development of our establishment, we are looking for an experienced, rigorous Chef(fe) de rang, passionate about the hotel and catering professions, at 100 %.

We wish to integrate into our team a reliable, committed person eager to invest themselves long-term, with real prospects for evolution.

Your mission
-------------

• Ensure professional, attentive, and high-quality service to our clientele.
• Manage your station autonomously, from setup to the end of service.
• Welcome, advise, and build loyalty with a Swiss and international clientele.
• Participate in the organization and smooth running of individual services and groups.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and the entire team.
• Ensure compliance with the establishment's quality, hygiene, and organizational standards.
• Actively contribute to a positive, structured, and professional working atmosphere.

Your profile
------------

Training and experience:

• CFC as a catering specialist or equivalent training in hotel and catering, highly desired.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in service after obtaining the diploma.
• For candidates without recognized training: minimum 10 years of confirmed experience in restaurant service.
• Excellent mastery of service techniques and ability to manage a station with full autonomy.

Language skills:

• Very good command of French.
• English mandatory, in order to communicate with our international clientele.
• Any additional language is an asset.

Personal qualities:

• Neat presentation, sense of welcome, and true spirit of service.
• Seriousness, punctuality, reliability, and sense of responsibility.
• Good stress management and ability to work efficiently during busy services.
• Autonomy, organization, team spirit, and constructive attitude.
• Desire to progress professionally and take on more responsibilities.

Administrative conditions:

• Residence in Switzerland, ideally in the region of Bulle, Gruyères, Fribourg or surroundings.
• Swiss nationality or a valid work permit in Switzerland.
• Application with a C permit is particularly appreciated.
