Job Description:

As a Chef de rang within our prestigious 5-star hotel, you are responsible for your station and ensure attentive, fluid, and personalized service, in compliance with LeCrans quality standards and LQA requirements. The position is primarily oriented towards the gastronomic service of our Michelin-starred restaurant LeMontBlanc.

This position is ideally available for a start on 1st December on a permanent contract (CDI).

Your missions under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager:

• Prepare and organize the mise en place necessary for service, in accordance with the establishment's standards
• Prepare and check your station before each service and ensure the cleanliness, order, and perfect presentation of the dining room
• Anticipate service needs and ensure the availability of necessary equipment
• Ensure the good coordination of your station with the Commis de Rang, the kitchen, and the sommelier service
• Participate in briefings and take note of the information necessary for the smooth running of the service
• Welcome customers with elegance, warmth, and discretion, and present the restaurant, its concept, and the menu
• Ensure the welcome and accompaniment of customers throughout their experience
• Master the menu, dishes, products, their provenance, and their main characteristics
• Present dishes with precision and enhance their composition, inspiration, and history when relevant
• Advise customers relevantly and contribute to upselling
• Coordinate the different stages of the menu with the kitchen and the sommelier service
• Ensure the follow-up of your station and anticipate customer expectations and needs
• Ensure the fluidity of service, respect for waiting times, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure the clearing, resetting, and tidying up of service areas
• Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure fluid and efficient service
• Participate in the mise en place and service of establishment events
• Prepare, check, and perform room service deliveries
• Participate in the closing and tidying up of the restaurant according to established procedures
• Guarantee service in accordance with the establishment's internal standards and LQA standards
• Respect hygiene and safety rules and current procedures
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the customer experience and service practices

REQUIRED PROFILE:

• Experience in a high-end establishment
• Excellent knowledge of gastronomy and the art of the table
• Good knowledge of wines and food pairings
• Excellent sense of service and hospitality
• Team spirit, versatility, and adaptability
• Very good level of French and English is imperative, another language is an asset
• Must have a vehicle
