Job description
At Kids Residence Early Academy, we place great importance on a healthy, balanced and child-friendly diet. With great care and passion, fresh, varied meals are prepared daily, tailored to the special nutritional needs of children. In doing so, we orient ourselves according to the recommendations of the Swiss Nutrition Society and pay attention to quality, sustainability and a responsible handling of resources. Every day, we are able to delight over 200 children with our freshly prepared meals. To strengthen our kitchen team in Rüschlikon, we are looking for an engaged personality for the following position, effective immediately or by agreement:

Cook (60% - 100%, m/f/d)
Working hours: Monday to Friday (between 07:00 and 19:00)
Tasks include:

Preparation of child-friendly meals according to a concept, taking into account defined nutritional guidelines and individual nutritional needs of children.
Supporting the kitchen team in the organization and implementation of meal plans for children.
Ensuring a hygienic working environment in accordance with the legally applicable regulations.
Participation in the purchasing, storage and administration of food as well as kitchen supplies.
Ensuring cleaning work and care of kitchen equipment as well as work surfaces and cold storage rooms.
Support in the preparation of main and intermediate meals as well as smaller events.
Delivery of child-specific meals in the region
Requirements include:

Experience in a similar position as a cook or generally in gastronomy or communal catering, preferably with a focus on child-friendly food preparation.
Basics regarding the nutritional needs of children and healthy eating habits present.
Sense of responsibility and initiative for the commitment to the quality of the prepared food.
Team player within a dynamic team as well as good communication skills in a demanding environment.
General knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen present.
Possession of a category B driver's license.
Loyalty, flexibility as well as willingness for continuous further training.
German language skills in speaking and writing, English language skills are an advantage
