The rustic restaurant Stürmeierhuus is located in the heart of Schlieren, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The restaurant in the old Riegelhaus offers space for 76 guests and features a terrace with around 60 seats. A cozy Stübli is excellently suited for smaller club events with up to 34 people. The first and second floors offer space for up to 125 people for banquets, corporate events, and celebrations. Families, residents, and business people appreciate the good, traditional, and honest cuisine.

The restaurant Stürmeierhuus belongs to the Stiftung Arbeitskette and is an integration enterprise. Since 1994, the foundation has operated gastronomy businesses in Zürich and Schlieren. As an operational foundation with around 100 specialists, we are committed to the social and professional integration of apprentices and employees with disabilities and offer around 165 performance-adapted training and work positions.

Your tasks

• Together with the kitchen team, consisting of the specialist team, employees with disabilities, and apprentices, you take responsibility for your station
• Your tasks include the organization and planning of the daily routine, including the procurement of goods
• You are co-responsible for compliance with quality and hygiene standards
• It is an advantage if you also enjoy performing administrative tasks

Your profile

• You have completed training as a Koch/Köchin EFZ and bring valuable experience from à la carte restaurants
• As a member of our specialist team, you are an empathetic and open personality with a strong social sense. You possess the gift of motivating employees with disabilities and apprentices through your positive aura and strengthening team spirit
• Thanks to your humor and high social competence, nothing can easily throw you off balance
• German is not a foreign language for you
• Impeccable reputation
