Junior Cook

Villa Sommerlust in Schaffhausen stands for a modern, creative kitchen at the highest level. Awarded with a Michelin star and 16 GaultMillau points, we combine Mediterranean and Asian influences with high-quality products and artisanal precision.

To strengthen our kitchen team, we are looking for a motivated Junior Cook EFZ (male/female) who wants to develop professionally and gain initial experience in high-end gastronomy.

Your tasks

• Preparation and plating of our dishes
• Support and independent work at the various stations
• Preparation and mise-en-place work
• Careful handling of high-quality and seasonal products
• Support in the development of new dishes

Compliance with our quality, hygiene, and safety standards

• Active cooperation with the entire kitchen team

Your profile

• Completed training as Koch/Köchin EFZ or an equivalent qualification
• Motivated recent graduates are very welcome
• Enthusiasm for high-end gastronomy and the desire to learn new things
• Passion for high-quality products and precise craftsmanship
• Clean, structured, and reliable way of working
• Team spirit, resilience, and sense of responsibility
• High quality awareness and attention to detail
