Front Office Manager / Rooms Division Manager 100% (reported profession)

Tasks:

• management and professional development of the front office team
• responsibility for the correct and professional execution of all reception and guest assistance processes
• coordination and monitoring of reservations, room occupancy and arrivals/departures
• guaranteeing first-class assistance and high-quality service
• creation and optimization of staff shifts and working hours
• training, motivation and support of employees
• participation in the optimization of room rates, offers and occupancy rates
• close collaboration with the hotel management and operational departments
• professional management of guest feedback and complaints
• continuous improvement of internal processes and operating standards

Requirements:

• completed professional training in the hotel, tourism sector or equivalent qualification
• at least two years of professional experience in a similar role in the hotel or maritime sector
• preferably, initial or multi-year managerial experience
• good knowledge of German, Italian, French and/or English
• experience with hotel management and booking systems (PMS), for example Protel Air or similar solutions
• strong service orientation and professional behavior
• organizational skills, strong sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial mindset
• independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• availability to work with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Your tasks
Technical and personnel leadership as well as further development of the front office team
Responsibility for a professional and smooth process of all reception and guest service processes
Coordination and monitoring of reservations, room occupancies as well as arrivals and departures
Ensuring first-class guest care and high service quality
Creation and optimization of deployment and duty rosters
Training, motivation and support of employees
Participation in the optimization of room prices, offers and occupancy
Close cooperation with the hotel management and the operational departments
Professional processing of guest feedback and complaints
Continuous improvement of internal processes and operational standards

Your profile
Completed training in the field of hotel management, tourism or a comparable qualification
At least two years of professional experience in a comparable function within the hotel or shipping industry
Ideally initial or multi-year leadership experience
Good language skills in German, Italian, French and/or English
Experience in dealing with hotel management and reservation systems (PMS), for example Protel Air or comparable solutions
Strong service orientation and professional appearance
Organizational skill, sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
Readiness for flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays
