Service Assistant (restaurant)

The employer is looking for a:

Waiter/Waitress (reported profession)

Tasks:

• setup: preparing the dining room and taking care of the mise en place (arrangement of tablecloths, cutlery and glasses) before opening
• reception: welcoming customers at the entrance, accompanying them to the table and handing over the menu
• ordering: explaining the dishes, advising on food and wine pairings, and taking orders, transmitting them to the kitchen
• service: serving dishes and drinks at the table, clearing the table and managing the resetting during service
• cash desk: managing the customer's bill and collecting payments at the end of the meal

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of previous experience
• excellent knowledge of Italian, good oral knowledge of English
• ease of contact with customers
• availability to work in shifts
