Area of responsibility:

• Management and supervision of the entire restaurant service and coordination of the Restaurant Stuben, Bar and Spycher including banquets and events
• Operational management and leadership of the Restaurant Stuben
• Contact person for kitchen and service
• Operational coordination with the Chefs de Service, Chef de Bar, daily managers and the Executive Chef
• Employee scheduling and training of service staff
• Compliance with the prescribed business philosophy, values, team rules, the employee ABC, duty of care and discretion
• Compliance with employee policy regarding working hours, days off, holidays and public holidays
• Employee recruitment
• Creation of daily plans with assignment of stations
• Training and instruction of apprentices and interns
• Ensuring the order and cleanliness of the restaurants
• Training and control for the careful handling of work materials
• Assistance in the organization and implementation of banquets and seminars
• Active guest care from reception, advice, care through to the personal farewell of the guests
• Leadership of employees
• Professional control of work processes
• Ensuring the flow of information to the CdS and employees
• Updating the service manual, job descriptions and standards
• Careful introduction of new employees
• Active promotion of further training for employees
• Personal further training

You have:

• completed training in the field of gastronomy
• pleasure in dealing with demanding and international individual guests
• a flair for the small details of courteous guest care and love personal contact with the guest
• very good language skills in German, French as well as in English
• professional experience in a comparable position
