A maître d'hôtel / socio-professional catering assistant (continuous hours), 100%, permanent contract

Company Description

The Etablissements publics pour l'intégration (EPI) have the mission to contribute to the well-being and the social and/or professional integration of people with disabilities or facing professional and/or social integration difficulties.

The Services socioprofessionnels are responsible for assessing the physical, social, and learning capacities of people with disabilities or facing integration difficulties with a view to professional orientation and reintegration. They can also provide socio-professional integration through adapted jobs and training in production workshops.

We are looking for a 100% rotating maître d'hôtel / socio-professional catering assistant at the Service restauration.

Job Description

• Ensure the smooth running and various activities of a cafeteria or a restaurant.
• Serve meals while ensuring compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ensure cash management, proceed with sales, receipts, openings, and closings (TCPOS) by applying the procedures in place.
• Guarantee the cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment and premises.
• Supervise and train people in situations of integration and disability.
• Have, with users and collaborators, positive contacts responding to the mission of the EPI.
• Plan orders based on forecasted sales flows.
• Accomplish the administrative and IT tasks inherent to the position.

Qualifications

• A CFC specialist in catering or a title deemed equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in the field of community or catering.
• Experience as a Maître d'hôtel or Dining Room Manager.
• Master table service, knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Continuous hours from Monday to Friday except in case of events at the request of management.
• Experience in supervising people with disabilities would be an asset.
• Possess developed interpersonal skills, ease in communication, a strong taste for teamwork and contact with customers.
• Demonstrate organization, versatility, reliability, rigor, initiative, a sense of responsibility, and open-mindedness.
• Master common office IT tools (Word, Excel)
• Perfect oral and written command of French.
• A driver's license (VL).
• Mobility, as the service restauration has 7 workplaces in the canton and a catering service.
