Room Attendant

The employer is looking for a:

Room Attendant (profession reported)

Tasks:

• prepares and keeps the trolley and the material necessary for the service tidy.
• performs the cleaning and tidying of departing rooms and occupied rooms according to the procedures provided.
• makes beds and manages the changing of linen according to standards and operational instructions.
• cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and surfaces specified by the procedures.
• cleans floors, furniture, surfaces, and contact points in compliance with defined methods.
• restores minibar, amenities, courtesy materials, and equipment according to established standards.
• visually checks the integrity, functioning, and completeness of the main room equipment and immediately reports anomalies or damage.
• respects instructions regarding special requests and guest preferences communicated through company channels.
• reports found objects and manages them exclusively according to the Lost and Found procedure.
• correctly updates or communicates the room status through the system or established methods.
• maintains discrete, polite, and professional behavior in the presence of guests and protects their privacy.

Requirements:

• proven experience of at least 3 years
• good knowledge of Italian and basic knowledge of English
• preferably resident in the Lugano area
• detail-oriented person
• availability to work in shifts, on weekends and on public holidays

Employment details:

• workplace Lugano
• employment 80-100%
• start of employment by agreement, permanent contract
• salary according to CCNL
