Foodlicious is our day-to-day business

From the Taverne Roche, a successful gastronomy company in the field of contract catering has emerged over more than 30 years. Tavero AG is a 100% subsidiary of F. Hoffmann-La Roche. At the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations, we employ around 350 employees from over 37 nations.

Our offering includes both staff restaurants that live diversity, as well as fine dining restaurants with upscale cuisine and excellent service. Additionally, we offer restaurants with delicacies from all over the world, coffee in all varieties, conjured by our baristas, as well as the highest-altitude lounges in Switzerland – dreamy after-work spots above the roofs of the city. Grab'n'Go offerings from sushi to burgers and the first and only club in the history of Roche complement our range. Additionally, we offer our guests meeting room and event catering for up to 1,500 people. The public gastronomies, das Schöpfli im Park and das Chez Jeannot in the Museum Tinguely, round off our offering.

We are looking for a Restaurant Specialist EFZ in the area of Barista starting in January 2027.

Your Tasks

Professional advice and sales-oriented guest service
Technically flawless, courteous, and comprehensive service to guests
Preparation of food and drinks as well as high-quality coffee specialties
Deployment in cafeterias, restaurants, bar, a personal station, or at the buffet
Providing and replenishing the mise en place
Immediate handling of any complaints
Ensuring a smooth service process
Operating the cash register system, responsible for correct booking in the cash register system including daily closings
Co-responsible for quality control, stock management, order, and cleanliness according to hygiene regulations (HACCP)
Co-responsible for daily orders including working in the goods management system
Co-responsible for the correct recording of the monthly inventory
Readiness to work in different restaurants
Readiness for special assignments outside of usual working hours

Your Profile

Completed training as Restaurant Specialist EFZ and several years of professional experience in a similar function
Commitment, joy, and passion for the profession
Barista and latte art skills are desirable
