The Goldau wildlife and nature park attracts approximately 450,000 visitors each year. On 42 hectares, approximately 100 species of European wild animals live. Around 200 employees and many volunteers are committed to nature and species protection, education and research, and sustainably develop the scientifically managed wildlife park.

Do you combine entrepreneurship with a passion for events and hospitality? In this key position, you are responsible for event activity, from the first client request to successful implementation on-site. You actively develop our event offering and create unique experiences in an exceptional natural setting.

We are looking for a personality for the position of Events Manager (80 -100 %) immediately or by agreement

Your tasks ##

• You are responsible for the acquisition, planning, organization, and implementation of events from A to Z
• You develop and negotiate offers, contracts, and calculations, and prepare execution plans
• You coordinate events with internal departments and lead or instruct the employees involved
• You maintain existing client relationships, win new clients, and identify sales and upselling potential
• You develop the event offering and design new attractive formats for daily visitors, events, and seminars
• You lead one employee and coordinate the employees engaged for events

Your profile ##

• Training or further education in event management, hospitality, gastronomy, or tourism with corresponding professional experience
• Several years of experience in the autonomous planning and implementation of demanding events
• In-depth knowledge in gastronomy and a marked understanding of operational processes, quality, and service
• Great organizational and coordination talent as well as a structured, reliable, and autonomous way of working
• Entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and good sense for attractive offers and market potential
• Stress resistance and calmness, even during several simultaneous events
