Der Abendfrieden, Wohnen & Pflege is a private and non-profit foundation that offers 90 residents individual and holistic care and support in a familial environment. 150 employees provide supporting services in nursing, kitchen, gastronomy, housekeeping, technology, and administration around the clock. In addition, we offer 17 apprenticeship and study positions. Well-being and quality of life are central elements for us in accompanying the residents. The team maintains a partnership-based coexistence with residents and employees.

• You will get to know all departments of our housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, lingerie, domestic service, as well as our in-house Cafe Schwank and kitchen) and work actively within them. You have the opportunity to get to know a new department every 4 months.
• You support our team in the daily assurance of cleanliness, hygiene, and the well-being of our residents and guests according to our quality standards.
• You actively participate in the preparation and implementation of events in Café Schwank (Christmas dinner, 1. August celebration, summer festival, etc.)
• You will learn the professional handling of various work devices, cleaning and washing agents, taking into account ergonomics, efficiency, and environmental protection.
• Completed compulsory schooling
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
• You bring joy and motivation for a meaningful activity in the daily interaction with people who are in their twilight years.
• You contribute your warmth in daily contact with people and learn to respond empathically to individual customer needs.
• A varied and practice-oriented training as a specialist in Hospitality-Housekeeping EFZ with the opportunity to work in all departments
• You work primarily from Monday to Friday without shift work
• At least 25 days of vacation, as well as 30 days from the age of 50
