The lintharena ag, commissioned by the municipality of Glarus Nord, is the operator of a multifunctional sports and leisure facility with integrated restaurant and hotel operations in Näfels. The company offers service elements in the areas of swimming, wellness, climbing, bouldering, football, group fitness, and polysport in the versatile multi-purpose halls, as well as gastronomy and hotel services.

For our lively operation, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a

Restaurant Specialist 80 % - 100 %

Your tasks

• being responsible for the well-being and satisfaction of the guests
• independent management of an à la carte station including cash handling in the restaurant
• high-standard guest care in the gastronomy area as well as at banquets during various sports and leisure events
• preparing the service (mise en place)
• setting up the rooms for seminars and banquets according to customer wishes
• professional preparation of hot and cold drinks as well as a selection of basic cocktails and drinks

Your profile
You see yourself as a passionate host, bring experience in the hotel / restaurant industry and have banquet experience, ideally with training in restaurant services. As a sociable and service-oriented personality, you find great joy in dealing with a wide variety of guests and partners. You are used to rolling up your sleeves and appreciate the advantages of irregular working hours. Your flexibility, your representative appearance, and your independent way of working characterize you, and you keep a cool head even in hectic situations. Ideally, you are able to communicate in English as well as German.
