CONTACT, Stiftung für Suchthilfe, offers services in the field of harm reduction. Its aim is to reduce the risks and negative consequences of substance consumption for those affected and society. CONTACT is oriented towards the four-pillar model of Swiss addiction policy. Immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for CONTACT take a way in Bern for a Cook EFZ with a flair for hospitality, 30-40 %. CONTACT take a way is aimed as a job offer at young adults in special life situations who want to gain work experience in a commercially managed business and acquire the necessary social, communicative and professional skills in a protected environment. The Bistrot take a way offers freshly prepared meals at lunchtime from Monday to Friday. We have 20 seats and additionally sell between 60 and 80 menus take-away. In the evening, the Bistrot is sporadically rented out to groups for Apéros and Tavolatas. We are looking for a flexible person who enjoys creative cooking and can cover the lunch service in the kitchen for a fixed 1-2 days per week. In addition, there are absence and holiday replacements as well as possible evening shifts (Apéros and independent preparation of Tavolatas). Your tasks are: * Joint menu planning with the person responsible for the kitchen * Creation, preparation and presentation of lunch menus (mainly vegetarian, always healthy and fresh) * Guidance of young adults in the preparation of food * Purchasing of goods and ordering * Assignments / replacement at the buffet and in service * Keeping lists, HACCP * Cleaning work in kitchen / Bistrot / warehouse You bring/You are: * Training as a Cook EFZ with several years of experience * Experience in service/front desirable * creative, resourceful, flexible * familiar with hygiene regulations * interest in the work and possibly experience with (young) adults * a responsible and service-oriented personality * willingness for extra work during evening events, caterings, holiday replacement * high social competence * driver's license an advantage Our offer is: * Progressive employment and working conditions according to GAV * Salary according to cantonal guidelines * Work in a small, flexible and upbeat team * meaningful activity in a social institution Interested?
