As a place of spirituality, education, culture and hospitality, the monastery unites diverse areas under one roof. Guest house, school, monastic community and other businesses shape a lively and varied everyday life. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an engaged and entrepreneurially minded leadership personality as Team Leader Cleaning & Housekeeping (80-100%) by arrangement. In this responsible function, you will lead the areas of cleaning, laundry and tailoring. At the same time, you will work actively in the daily business and support your team through your professional competence and your role model function. Together with the various specialist departments, you will ensure a high quality of service and stay for guests, employees, students and the monastic community.

Your tasks

• Active participation in the areas of cleaning, laundry and tailoring as well as technical and personnel leadership of the team
• Planning, organization and further development of work processes, deployment plans and quality standards
• Promotion and development of employees as well as perspective for co-shaping apprentice training
• Close cooperation with the guest area, the Stiftsschule and other specialist departments
• Responsibility for hygiene, occupational safety as well as economical and sustainable use of resources
• Co-shaping of optimization and change processes as well as use of synergies in procurement and orders

Your profile

• Training in the field of housekeeping, hotel management, cleaning or comparable qualification
• Professional and leadership experience in a service-oriented environment, ideally in hotel management or housekeeping
• Enjoyment of a practical leadership role with active participation in the daily business
• Organizational skill, initiative and entrepreneurial thinking
• Enjoyment of cross-departmental cooperation
• Good MS-Office skills
• Discretion, reliability and an appreciative demeanor
