Front Desk Manager 100% (m/w/d)

Area of responsibility

• Leadership, motivation and further development of the 6-member Front Desk/Reception team as well as performing a confident host function
• Conducting recruitment, feedback, probationary period as well as qualification interviews for the Front Desk team
• Ensuring highest guest satisfaction including professional complaint handling
• Continuous optimization and control of processes as well as compliance with LQA standards at the Front Desk
• Close and solution-oriented cooperation as well as mutual support with the Night Manager, Rooms Experience Manager and Guest Relations
• Economic creation of duty/holiday planning as well as control of working hours, time balances in the time tracking system
• Participation in management as well as revenue and other relevant meetings as well as consistent implementation of the measures derived from them
• Taking over duty shifts and representing the interests of the entire house
• Participation in the preparation of the annual budget in cooperation with the Rooms Division Manager as well as monthly preparation and analysis of the monthly closing
• Promotion of upselling potentials in the areas of Rooms, Spa and Food & Beverage
• Further development of digital processes and ensuring high data and application quality in Opera Cloud and other systems

What we wish from you

• Commercial training in the hotel industry as well as experience in a comparable position at the Front Desk/Reception
• Basic business administration knowledge
• Very good PC user skills (PMS, ideally Opera Cloud, as well as Office 365)
• Proficient in German and English (spoken and written), any further language is an advantage
• Interconnected way of thinking, good work organization and independent way of working
• Cooperative and goal-oriented leadership style
