The company Arte Konferenzzentrum AG consists of the 4-star Arte hotel and the 3-star Oltnerhof hotel, both located in Olten. The Arte hotel is recognized throughout Switzerland as an excellent 4* seminar and congress hotel, ideally located in Olten. The offering includes 12 modern congress and seminar rooms, equipped with the latest technology and able to accommodate up to 500 people. In addition, there are 79 modern hotel rooms as well as excellent international cuisine at the "pure" restaurant with lounge, bar and terrace. The Oltnerhof hotel is a Garni hotel with 15 double and single rooms and has been part of the company since 1 January 2020.

To complete our dynamic team, we are looking for, by agreement, a strong personality with organizational skills and assertiveness, a catering specialist (m/f/d) 60% - 100%

• Autonomous management of a station including cashing up
• Breakfast service (hotel & à la carte)
• Room service
• Reception and advice for our international clients according to house standards
• Preparation of coffee specialties including Latte Art
• Wine advice and service
• Use of the cash register system
• Support during large events at the conference center
• Management of aperitifs and private events
• Compliance with hygiene and safety standards according to HACCP/EKAS

What should be your background of experience?

• Completed training as a catering specialist CFC or EBA
• Professional experience in gastronomy
• Motivated, neat and customer-oriented personality
• Strong service orientation and flexibility (partial shifts, evenings and weekends)
• Organizational talent with pleasure in customer contact
• Good knowledge of Swiss German required
• Knowledge of other foreign languages is an asset
