What you will move with us
The Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina stands for magical moments, elegance, and alpine hospitality at the highest Five-Star Superior level. Our over 2'000 m² large spa is an oasis of relaxation and the centerpiece of our wellness offering. As Spa Manager (m/f/d), you will take over the strategic and operational management of this exclusive area, lead a dedicated team of therapists and receptionists, and elevate the guest experience to a new level.
Your tasks:
Operational & strategic spa management: You ensure smooth processes throughout the entire spa, pool, and fitness area, ensure optimal occupancy, and continuously develop our treatment offering.
Team leadership & inspiration: You recruit, coach, and empower your team, create duty and holiday schedules (with Mirus), conduct feedback meetings, and act as a motivating role model by demonstrating a warm service culture.
Highest quality standards: You consistently implement the requirements of the management, as well as LQA and Forbes standards, and steadily develop the offering.
Guest enthusiasm & sales: From professional consultation at the spa reception to complaint management and the creation of the annual spa brochure and exclusive spa events, you ensure unforgettable guest moments.
Purchasing, stock & hygiene: You control the selection of product orders as well as inventory (in coordination with the deputy management), conduct inventories, and pay meticulous attention to order, hygiene, and water quality (in cooperation with technical services).
You are
Professional experience: Several years of leadership experience as a Spa Manager or deputy – ideally in high-end luxury hotels.
Leadership competence: Human strength, empathy, and a trained eye for the promotion of your team.
System & language skills: Fluent German and English (further languages an advantage); proficient use of common spa & duty planning systems (e.g., TAC, Mirus).
Personality: High sense of responsibility, organizational talent, business thinking, and composure even during peak times.
