Service Professional on an hourly basis

The Restaurant Bermuda in Schaffhausen is a popular and lively meeting point for guests who appreciate a great atmosphere, fine drinks, and sociable evenings. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a flexible and experienced service professional, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your main tasks:

• Warm and professional care of our guests from greeting to farewell
• Competent advice on drinks, cocktails, and food
• Taking orders as well as professional service and pouring
• Operation of the cash register system and execution of daily or shift settlements
• Preparation and post-preparation work (mise-en-place) for a smooth service process
• Compliance with hygiene and quality standards (HACCP) throughout the entire gastronomy area
• Opening and closing the establishment

Requirement profile (What you bring with you):

• Experience: Mandatory professional experience in service (gastronomy/bar)
• Flexibility: High level of commitment and flexibility, the focus of your assignments is clearly on evening shifts and assignments on the weekend
• Host gene: A friendly, well-groomed, and winning appearance as well as genuine joy in contact with people
• Resilience: Maintains an overview and works efficiently even in stressful and hectic moments
• Team spirit: Communicative, reliable, helpful, and seamlessly integrable into the team
• Language skills: Flawless German skills in everyday life and service, foreign languages an advantage
