For the new opening of the Chlosterhof Taverne in Stein am Rhein, we are looking for motivated and cordial service assistants who enjoy interacting with people and want to build a new gastronomic meeting point together with us.

Directly on the Rhine, a lively business is being created with Mediterranean cuisine, Swiss classics, a Tavolata concept, bar & lounge, and a spacious terrace.

OUR CONCEPT

Chlosterhof Taverne stands for uncomplicated hospitality, good products, and an atmosphere in which our guests feel comfortable from the very first moment.

Our business includes:

• Restaurant with approx. 70 seats
• Mediterranean-Italian inspired cuisine
• Selected Swiss classics
• Tavolata concept for sharing and enjoying together
• Bar & Lounge with approx. 50 seats
• Terrace directly on the Rhine with around 120 seats
• Banquets, events, and special occasions

YOUR TASKS

As a service assistant, you support our service team in daily operations and ensure, together with your colleagues, that our guests feel completely comfortable.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Supporting the service team in the restaurant, in the lounge, and on the terrace
• Preparing and setting the tables
• Serving food and drinks
• Clearing and preparing the tables for new guests
• Assisting with Mise en Place and daily preparation work
• Assisting with banquets, events, and Tavolata occasions
• Supporting drink and food service
• Order and cleanliness in the entire guest area
• Close cooperation with service, bar, and kitchen

Depending on experience and development, you can take on further tasks and responsibility with us step by step.

• Readiness to pitch in even in intensive situations
• Quick comprehension and willingness to learn
• Good German skills are an advantage
• Readiness for flexible working hours as well as shifts on weekends and public holidays
• A completed gastronomic training is not mandatory.
• Experience in service is an advantage, but motivated career changers are also welcome.
