Tasks ##

• Manage correspondence and travel projects with clients.
• Organize creative excursions and trips in Switzerland and abroad.
• Ensure follow-up of contracts with service partners.

Skills ##

• Commercial training with experience, ideally in tourism.
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss geography and destinations.
• Proficiency in common IT tools such as Excel and Powerpoint.

Workplace & activity rate

• Kreuzlingen max. 50% of the annual rate
• Wängi 50-60% of the annual rate
• One person for each location or one person for both locations in a possible combination starting from 80%

Activities:

As a travel agent, you are in direct contact with our varied and demanding clientele, both by telephone and in person. You handle all correspondence from orders, offers, order confirmations, and transport orders to the invoice. You calculate offers according to tariffs and organize creative excursions and multi-day trips in Switzerland and neighboring countries. As a product manager, you assume responsibility for certain travel projects from our catalogue. You are in direct contact with our providers such as hotels, restaurants, shipping companies, etc., and monitor contracts as well as corresponding cancellation deadlines. You open trips in our reservation program and sell trips from our catalogue as well as our rental cars to independent drivers. These are just a few of the tasks of this varied activity.

Requirements:

This position requires a lot of autonomy and a sense of organization. You need contact with people during work and enjoy sales. You are used to setting priorities and placing client needs at the center with your service-oriented and loyal attitude. You are resistant to stress and always keep an overview even during periods of high seasonal activity. Our clientele expects precise and punctual work; we require basic commercial training with several years of professional experience, preferably in the tourism sector (travel agency, hotel, similar). Good knowledge of geography and destinations in Switzerland and neighboring countries is indispensable. You also possess a category B driver's license (car) and know the computer and all common programs by heart (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.). A bit of negotiation skills and contractual security complete your profile.
