The Stiftung dreischiibe is an innovative, non-profit social enterprise. In our versatile service and commercial center in Herisau, St. Gallen and Flawil, we create professional and personal perspectives for people with mental impairments at 220 work, training and integration positions. In the day center and the meeting center, we promote social integration with 63 visitor places.

Our Café Restaurant as well as the employee restaurant in Herisau are day operations and are open from Monday to Friday. We maintain a market-fresh, regional and seasonal cuisine with a high degree of fresh production.

To support our gastro specialist team in Herisau, we are looking for, immediately or by arrangement, a

Cook as Group Leader 60% temporary until April 2027
Workload 60% on 3 days with continuous day shift

Your tasks

• Active participation in production as well as in daily À la Carte business
• Guiding and leading employees at supported workplaces
• Planning and organizing kitchen processes involving employees in cooperation with the other group leaders
• Active assistance with caterings or banquet events outside of opening hours, in the evening and on the weekend
• Quality control of food as well as compliance with and monitoring of HACCP

Your profile

• Training as Koch/Köchin EFZ with at least 5 years of professional experience
• Experience in À la Carte cuisine
• Additional agogic training or several years of experience in the social sector
• Leadership experience in smaller teams and high social competence
• Joy and enthusiasm for cooking
• Flexibility, readiness to work outside of opening hours in the evening or on the weekend.
• Empathy and respectful handling of people with mental impairments as well as the ability and joy for corresponding promotion
• Good user knowledge of common MS-Office programs
• Driver's license Kat. B
