Head of Gastronomy Department 100% (m/f/d)

The Stiftung Altra in Schaffhausen is looking for an engaged personality for the management of our internal canteen and gastronomy as of 01.01.2027 or by arrangement.

Tasks:

• Operational and personnel leadership of a small gastronomy team
• Active participation in daily business and ensuring smooth operations
• Menu planning, calculation, purchasing and goods management
• Ensuring quality as well as compliance with hygiene and food regulations
• Organization and coordination of internal and external events
• Economic management of the department and responsibility for the budget
• Further development of the gastronomic offer and implementation of new concepts
• Cooperation with various internal areas

Requirements:

• Completed training as Koch/Köchin EFZ and several years of professional experience
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in the development of a small team
• Experience in service and in gastronomy
• Experience in offer planning, calculation and purchasing
• Organizational skills, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong host mentality and enjoyment in dealing with different people
• Quality awareness and business understanding
• Open, reliable personality with humor and composure
