The BÂLE HOTELS GROUP unites six hotels and two conference centers under one roof, which stand for hospitality, highest comfort, and passion for gastronomy. These include the Hotel Pullman Basel Europe, the Hotel Victoria, the Hotel Basler-tor, and the Boutique-Hotel Märthof in Basel, the Hotel Savoy in Bern, the Holiday Inn Express in Oftringen, the Coop Tagungszentrum in Muttenz, as well as the Hôtel du Léman centre de séminaire in Jongny. Together they create unique experiences for travelers, conference guests, and connoisseurs.

The Pullman in Basel impresses with its ideal location near the Old Town, the congress center, and the exhibition grounds. In addition to the 141 stylishly furnished rooms, the hotel offers maximum event freedom for business and private receptions with 7 modern and light-flooded conference rooms. A gym with a view of the garden is also available. At the Bistro Europe, people meet for an informal lunch or dinner and enjoy delicious drinks at the bar.

Tasks

• Professional and expert guest care
• Co-responsibility for the smooth service process in our bistro
• Expert management of a station including cash handling
• Setup of the event rooms
• Care of coffee breaks and events in the house
• Provision of the required mise-en-place
• Compliance with hygiene and cleanliness guidelines
• Assignments in à la carte and banquet areas

Requirements

• Completed training in the hotel industry, preferably in the restaurant sector
• Experience in à la carte service and the banquet sector
• Business fluent German and English, good French skills an advantage
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
• Warm, charming hosts, enthusiastic and motivated
• High level of commitment, initiative, and reliability
• Smiling, satisfied guests are a matter of the heart to you
