On behalf of a recognized player in collective catering in the canton of Lausanne, we are recruiting a

Chef de cuisine

This Chef de cuisine position is intended for a professional capable of guaranteeing quality, organization and rigor on a daily basis. He will be a key player in the coordination of the team and production. The establishment values teamwork, collaboration and culinary excellence. He supervises a team of approximately five collaborators in the kitchen with a volume of 150 menus per day. These meals are served on-site or transported to other sites. The Chef de cuisine plans and implements all production, he supervises the production of sandwiches, salad buffets and catering services. As a referent for hygiene, quality and maintenance, he also manages orders and inventories. The hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with some exceptional evening interventions.

We are looking for a candidate with confirmed experience in collective catering AND high-end hospitality, with recognized and structured management. The chef de cuisine will propose the menus to be produced, manage the team on a daily basis and report to the restaurant manager. A global vision of the activity, sense of organization and collective spirit are essential. Autonomy and reliability are indispensable qualities for this position.
