Assistant Cook

The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrisches Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the expanded basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the Hospitality & Services area under the leadership of Mr. Remo Bürlisauer, Mr. Alexander Holzmann is looking for an assistant cook as of 01.01.2027.

Your tasks

• Collaboration in the cold kitchen and patisserie
• Assistance in the main kitchen according to instructions from specialist staff
• Co-responsible for complying with hygiene regulations and occupational safety
• Working according to internal company work processes

Your profile

• Some years of professional experience
• Very good German language skills
• Activity in a comparable institution (healthcare, elderly care, or similar) is an advantage
• Business-oriented thinking
• You are a cheerful and team-oriented person and convince through your professional way of working
