In the middle of the Schaffhausen old town, the Kronenhof offers its guests a 3-star hotel with 42 rooms and suites as well as a city wellness area. However, the heart of the Kronenhof is its lively gastronomy: a popular à la carte restaurant, a cozy bar, versatile rooms for events of all kinds, and a sun terrace with the best view of the Munot.

We are not just looking for service – we are looking for true hospitality! You are a host and a salesperson with passion, you enjoy approaching people and have a sense for their wishes. With personality, attentiveness, and professional advice, you ensure that a restaurant visit becomes an experience.

Your task as Chef de Rang / Station Waiter:

• independent management of a service station in à la carte service as well as at banquets and events
• warm, personal, and attentive care of our guests
• competent advice and active sales with a sense for the wishes of our guests
• professional food and beverage service
• preparation and closing work in the restaurant

You bring with you:

• You are a host by conviction, you enjoy approaching people and have genuine joy in inspiring guests
• selling is fun for you and you have a good feeling for the wishes of our guests
• You have sound gastronomic specialist knowledge and professional experience, ideally with completed training in gastronomy
• You are motivated, reliable, loyal and flexible, you roll up your sleeves

and maintain an overview even in lively situations

• a well-groomed, professional appearance and a positive aura are a matter of course for you
• very good German and English skills; Swiss German, French and any other language are a plus
