Chalet Host

Overview
This is a varied and demanding position with a practical focus, in which you will support the Chalet Manager, who bears overall responsibility for ensuring a perfect guest stay, managing all aspects of chalet operations, and ensuring the performance of each individual member of the chalet team. The main goal is to provide first-class guest service and create unique and unforgettable holiday experiences for every customer.
Main Tasks
Under the direction of the Chalet Manager:

• Supporting the Manager in providing the best possible service to guests to ensure that all their needs are met
• Ensuring first-class customer service and guest satisfaction in all areas, including catering, games/entertainment, childcare, as well as technology/communication
• Preparing breakfast during the chef's days off
• Responsibility for guests, staff, and the chalet on the Manager's day off
• Responsibility for the daily cleaning and preparation of the chalet's living areas
• Responsibility for the cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms in the morning and evening with great attention to detail
• Responsibility for the laundry service in the chalet and for the guests
• Support in serving breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner
• General maintenance of the chalet
• Ensuring hygiene, health, and safety standards
• Maintaining relationships with local suppliers
• Responsibility for the housekeeping area and laundry
• Support with general tasks in the kitchen

Required Skills and Experience
This position is suitable for individuals with the following skills:

• Previous experience in 4 or 5-star hospitality or Silver Service
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Basic knowledge of administration and accounting as well as basic computer skills
• Fluent English; German, French, or Italian at a conversational level is an advantage, but not mandatory
