Die Astoria Gastronomie AG is a lively gastronomy enterprise in the center of Olten. It includes the following business branches: Hotel with 38 rooms as well as several business apartments, traditional restaurant (90 SPL), specialty restaurant Bamboo (50 SPL), seminar with 7 rooms, Bar sisième (90 SPL) and terraces, Bar magazin (270 SPL).

For the Hotel Astoria, we are looking for immediate start:

Hotel Staff 100 % (m/f/d) – unskilled

Main tasks:

• co-responsible for a smooth operation on the floor and in the lingerie
• Cleaning of: rooms, apartments, public toilets, bars
• Ensuring optimal guest service
• Ordering and inventory of cleaning agents, guest items and laundry items
• Proper handling of lost property
• Weekly cleaning / final cleaning of the furnished apartments
• Working in the lingerie/laundry
• Carrying out the entire laundry cycle

Requirements:

• Teamwork, reliability, stress resistance, punctuality and flexibility
• Sound knowledge of current work and hygiene regulations and the ability to implement them without problems
• Friendliness in dealing with guests, a well-groomed appearance and good expression in the German (ideally also English) language
• Politeness and respect in dealing with colleagues and employees
