Welcome to Hotel Idyll – your new place of impact in beautiful Gais!
Our house is a charming holiday and seminar hotel with many long-standing regular guests and returning seminar groups. Amidst the gentle hills of Appenzellerland, we combine lived hospitality, quality, and warmth. To strengthen our kitchen team, we are looking for you – an engaged, creative, and willing-to-learn personality.

• You work actively in the kitchen and contribute your ideas.
• You help design vegan and vegetarian dishes and develop them further together with the team.
• You are responsible for a clean, structured workplace and maintain our standards with joy and care.
• You enjoy cooking classically, modernly – and always efficiently.
• You are open to new things, willing to learn, and ready to continuously develop yourself and your way of working.
• You contribute to the team and support where it is currently needed.

What you bring with you

• Completed apprenticeship as Koch/Köchin EFZ.
• Interest and affinity for plant-based cuisine.
• Joy in the high-quality processing of meat and fish.
• Enthusiasm for new recipes, processes, and further development.
• A high standard for cleanliness, quality, and efficiency.
• Team spirit, resilience, and the desire to get a little better every day.
