Sous-Chef / Kitchen Teamleader "Get & Give"

For the management of our production team for the cold kitchen of the employee restaurant and the Take Away "Get & Give", which complements our employee restaurant Klubhaus, we are looking for a committed personality as a Sous-Chef. In this function, you will lead a team of three employees in an international environment and undertake the following main tasks:

Your main tasks

• Developing, further developing and jointly producing the cold and warm offering in the Get&Give area as well as the salad buffet in close cooperation with the service manager and head chef
• Actively supporting the team during production and service times in the kitchen and at the front
• Ensuring a professional production process during preparation and service times as well as being the first point of contact for the products and their attractive presentation in the Get & Give
• Taking over administrative tasks in connection with menu planning, calculations as well as in ordering
• Leading the team with clear goals as well as responsibility for employee appraisals
• The working hours are from Monday - Friday, predominantly from 06:00 - 15:00 and evening shifts for events
• Entry as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement
• Your place of work is Zürich Mythenquai

In addition to the communal gastronomy in Zurich, CRES Zurich operates the Guest Restaurant K2 and the Casual Restaurant as well as the conference center with hotel operations Centre for Global Dialogue in Rüschlikon.

On the roof is the Genussgarten, where Swiss Re Gastronomy grows, in addition to in-house honey, vegetables, herbs, flowers and salads for immediate own use and for durable kiosk items and giveaways.

You bring with you

• Successfully completed vocational training as Koch/Köchin EFZ
• At least five years of professional experience, ideally in different gastronomy businesses
• Initial leadership experience as well as enjoyment in promoting and further developing employees
• High service orientation as well as pronounced quality-cost awareness
• In addition to very good German skills, you also have good written and oral English skills
• Very good PC user skills as well as confident handling of common MS Office programs

For Switzerland, the basic salary range for this position is between 76,000 CHF and 101,000 CHF (for a full-time position). The specifically offered salary takes into account:

• the requirements, the scope, the complexity and the responsibilities of the role,
• the profile of the applicant, including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
