About us

Billard Center Bern is a centrally located meeting point for billiards, snooker, and darts enthusiasts in the city of Bern. In a relaxed atmosphere, we combine sport, socializing, and bar operations – uncomplicated, friendly, and professional.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for one to two motivated personalities as Bar Staff with a workload of 40–80% starting December 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Looking after our guests in bar and gaming operations
• Serving drinks and simple preparation
• Operating the cash register system, settlement of billiard tables
• Issuing gaming equipment (billiard balls) to guests
• Independent shift management including cash closing and closing the business
• Support with general operational processes
• Refilling sold bottles, snacks etc. (daily in the morning shift), assistance with goods receipt and inventory
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the guest area
• Co-responsibility for smooth day and evening operations

Working hours

• Assignments from Monday to Sunday
• Flexible deployment planning by arrangement
• Evening and weekend assignments are included
• Working hours divided into shifts: 10:30 – 17:30 and 17:30 – 00:30, Friday and Saturday one hour longer in the evening shift
• Deployment plan provided in advance

Your profile

• Team player, reliable, and resilient
• Flexible for deployment (including evenings and weekends)
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance
• Independent way of working and sense of responsibility
• Good German skills (other languages an advantage)
• Confident handling of cash register and cash
• Minimum age 18 years and valid work permit for Switzerland
• Experience in gastronomy, bar, or sales is an advantage
• No completed gastronomy training required
