Under the name BâleHotels, the five hotels Pullman Basel Europe, Hotel Victoria, Hotel Baslertor, Hotel Savoy and Hotel Märthof are operated.

The charming, stylish boutique hotel "Märthof" at Markplatz with 68 unique rooms was opened in July 2021, in a prime location in the heart of the historic old town of Basel with a view of the Markplatz. The lively "Brasserie Bohemia" with boulevard café directly on the Markplatz, first-class event opportunities for up to 40 people and a panoramic roof terrace for our hotel guests testify to the diversity of the house, quite in line with our motto "Savoir vivre im Herzen von Basel".

Tasks

Together with your team, you are responsible for the smooth running of the reception.
Main tasks include:

• Check-in and check-out
• Guest care and concierge activities
• Active upselling
• Telephone service
• Receipt and processing of individual reservations
• Guest correspondence
• Various administrative tasks

Requirements

• Completed training in the hotel industry and initial experience at the reception is an advantage
• Business fluent German and English, both spoken and written
• Good French skills and Opera knowledge are an advantage
• Reliable, team player, flexible, resilient with an open demeanor
• Motivation, passion for the profession and joy in working
• Well-groomed appearance, good manners
• High commitment, also on weekends and public holidays
